Vancouver Island, Victoria and Pacific Rim – June 2011
When we travelled on the Nagel Tour Coach
we are wearing a purple and white broach;
They happen to be all the same
because they show our name.
So it is no bother to get to know each other.
With the oldest 88 and the youngest thirty,
We wonder who they might be.
The first night we stayed in Salmon Arm;
the hotel and restaurant had so much charm.
Our driver Browne was very brave
to bring us to the ferry and Victoria safe.
Doing the City Tour and to the Butchard Gardens we went.
It was a day very well spent.
Then on to Tofino at the Pacific.
The beaches and whale watching were terrific.
Next day at Horseshoe Bay we went on the ferry.
Amazing how many vehicles and people it can carry.
At the hotel in New Westminster we had a beautiful view.
On our trip we always see something new.
Being at Three Valley Gap is the very best yet.
Elsie and Browne, we have great admiration
for your unending dedication.
You have done so much for us,
as passengers on your bus.
For all the things you have done,
and thanks to good weather, we had so much fun.
Now we will all stand
to give you both a great big hand.
