My love for travel began in my early 20’s on a Grand European Contiki tour, where I visited 15 countries—and met my husband. That experience showed me travel is about more than places; it’s about meaningful connections.

I later moved to Perth, Australia, and spent eight years in the travel industry, exploring Asia, Africa, and beyond. A career highlight was leading two familiarization trips to Bali & Lombok, Indonesia and Bangkok & Phuket, Thailand as Tour Master (the Aussie term for Tour Director), organizing hotel viewings, experiencing sightseeing tours, and getting to know fellow travel agents and industry partners.

Eventually, we returned to Edmonton, where I continued working in travel until the events of 9/11 led me to change careers. Still, my passion never faded. I’ve competed in World Master Games, attended global sporting events, and immersed myself in the excitement of many live tennis tournaments and reconnecting with family and friends who live abroad.

Now, 22 years later, I’m back in travel with renewed passion. Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore more of Canada—my birthplace—deepen my connection with Australia, my second home, and continue discovering Italy, where my parents were born.

My motto: Life is too short—travel often. Invest in experiences, not things.
